I don't know when I've been quite as taken with a perspective as I am with this, Diana. I just love the choices you made here . . . the tiny sliver of building edge and balconies on the right against that great, richly colored sky/sea background and the larger piece of burnt orange building on the left with its truncated but clearly recognizable (and quite attractively ornate) windows on the left. Without your description, I'm not sure I could have sorted anything except the left section out and might have thought it a collage - which makes it all the more remarkable to me. Definitely one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for August 21.

Diana Rajala replied:

Thank you so much, Nikolyn, for your detailed and thoughtful comments about my work, After the Rain. When I saw the water marks on the orange building, I knew that I needed to photograph them. The blue dark skies after the storm were a bonus! I appreciate your support and selection for a pod.
