Description
A visit to the Galeria Atotonilco is a must when one is in the San Miguel de Allende area in Mexico. The owner has an amazing collection of Mexican folk art to be admired and some pieces are for sale. I saw this yellow run outside the entrance to the gallery and liked the contrast of the vase with the pink wall.

All combines to please the eye, Diana - the elements, the textures, the colors, the forms. Lovely stuff. This is a pod choice for me in the Best of Minimalism group.

Unusual but very pleasing colors. Like how the gold of the vase is captured in the wood supports and even a bit int he rocks in the corner - great!

Wouldn’t be my choice of home decor colours but, you’re right that there is something pleasing about the combination—thank you for your comments, Ginger!
