I saw a pair of black capped chickadees working to build a nest in a hole in a tree stump as I was on my walk. They didn’t seem to be too concerned that I was nearby so I was able to get a number of photos.

I have always been a lifelong learner—first as an secondary school educator and principal in my professional career and now as an aspiring artist in my retired life.
