The Playa Gorgona beach in Panama is one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. Black volcanic ash has interspersed withthe beige sand and has created many interesting colours and sand formations. I’m not sure what has caused these ones but they really do look extraterrestrial.

I have always been a lifelong learner—first as an secondary school educator and principal in my professional career and now as an aspiring artist in my retired life.
