Description

This mixed media original art began from an acrylic pour painting. I photographed sections of the painting and then digitally reduced the abstract paint swirls to images that I saw in the work—I saw what appeared to be some whimsical sea creatures in this one. I printed the simplied art work with a black background on textured paper and then painted all the dots using acrylic paints. This is a photo of the original mixed media painting.
